Novaluxia PH Points Mall: What Your Points Are Actually Worth

Points are a reward you collect after an order, and every listing in the Points Mall shows exactly how many points it costs. Here is what redeems, the exchange we measured, and what to finish early so a redemption goes through first time.

Points on the official web store work the way a good loyalty scheme should: an order earns them, the points mall spends them, and every listing carries its own points price. Points sit alongside the shopping side on the brand site rather than on top of it, which means the exchange is never a mystery. You read the price on the listing, and you redeem it.

Our view, after using it: the points mall is the most effortless part of the platform. The order side asks you to read campaign rules, compare landed cost and watch three dates; the points side asks for one decision: pick the voucher you will actually use, and check its points price. That is the whole interaction, and it is the reason we keep coming back to it.

What a point is worth#

The app screen headed "How Points Are Earned" spells out where the points come from and what they can do. They arrive after each order, "based on product categories and promotional rules", and they can be used in three ways: for cash vouchers or discount coupons that offset a future purchase, for selected products on the platform, and for cash withdrawn to a linked bank account. The same screen's redemption rules add two limits that matter early: you can apply for redemption once a day, and a single redemption can take out up to 90% of the points you hold. The app's own vocabulary for those credits runs from Pending to Received, with a Points Release Schedule behind them.

We measured the exchange in September 2026 from the listings inside the app:

  • A ₱50 voucher cost 50 points. That is about ₱1 per point.

Two cautions, and they matter more than the number:

  1. The rate moves. Vouchers from different merchants can be priced differently, so the listing is what tells you the current exchange. Read the points price, not the peso value of the thing you are buying.
  2. Points are a claim on a named item. What you hold is a claim on a specific voucher at a specific points price, redeemable the same week.

What actually redeems#

The points mall leans toward everyday things rather than big-ticket items. The redemption types we found were:

  • Food and drink vouchers. The line-up includes KFC, Burger King, Grab, Coffee Bean and Pickup Coffee. These are over-the-counter redemptions: you get a code or a slip, you present it at the branch. The brand site's news page lists Pickup Coffee vouchers at 50, 100 and 300 points and a KFC voucher at 200, and its sample redemption screen for the Pickup Coffee 50 shows an original price of ₱100, a run of 10,000 and 92 already exchanged.
  • Small household and personal-care items through the shopping side of the app.
  • Occasional campaign vouchers tied to a specific promotion, which come and go.

Everyday things from local merchants, usable right away: that is what a points shelf should be. A ₱50 coffee voucher you will use this week is worth more than a ₱200 discount on something you will never buy, and the local focus is deliberate: the platform's 105+ merchant partners lean towards names like these.

Not every voucher is a straight swap. Some listings are points plus cash — read the price line, not the points number.

What the mall does consistently is keep the choice concrete. Every entry is a named voucher or a named item with its own points price shown before you redeem, so you always know what you are spending points on. Some entries are points plus a small cash top-up, which is why the price line at the bottom of the listing matters as much as the points figure at the top.

The step worth finishing early#

Higher-value redemptions (and every cash-out route) run through real-name verification. The app accepts a Philippine passport, UMID, Postal ID, National ID or TIN ID, and a bank card has to be bound to the account.

Nothing about that is unusual for a platform handling money and points. The cash-out rail is the platform's published Security Bank partnership (20 May 2026), and completing it early means the redemption is ready the moment you tap it. If a redemption ever looks stuck, work through three checks in order:

  1. Is your account verified, and is the document still valid? An expired ID cannot pass the check.
  2. Is the bank card still bound? Cards expire. A reissued card can knock the binding loose.
  3. Is the voucher in stock? Campaign vouchers are limited and sell out, so a sold-out listing will not complete.

What a completed redemption looks like: an order number, a completion status and 50 points spent. The screen keeps the record, so there is always something to show support.

Two limits worth knowing before you plan#

  • Daily purchase caps. Per price tier, the shopping side caps purchases at five units a day. Keep that in mind before you plan a large order and expect the points to land in one go.
  • Voucher expiry. A voucher with an expiry date you cannot hit is worth zero. Check the validity window before you redeem, not after.

Is it worth chasing points at all?#

Yes, this is the one we would build straight into a routine. Points arrive after an order you were already placing, and the mall turns them into vouchers you can use the same week. The sensible way to treat them is as a small reward on top of a purchase you wanted, not as a reason to buy something you did not.

The three redemption paths are what make them easy to use: a discount voucher that offsets a future order, a selected product from the platform, and cash to a linked bank card once verification is complete. Read the points price on the listing, compare it with the peso value of the voucher, and redeem the ones you will actually spend. That is the whole method, and it is the same landed-cost habit we use for the shopping side.
