The one-paragraph version#
Novaluxia describes itself as a social e-commerce platform that connects consumers, communities, merchants and brands. It launched with the Philippines as its first market in Asia-Pacific, and organises shopping around four category groups: beauty tech, skincare, lifestyle and smart living. Instead of a pure search-and-buy marketplace, it leans on community product discovery, group buying, a fulfilment network, and brand partnerships with merchants.
That is the company's own description, from its public site. It is a positioning statement, not an audited business fact — so treat the marketing language as marketing.
One thing belongs before all of it, though: the main group buy here is a draw, not a discount. Every group has 100 people and 1 winner. This page exists to explain that properly.
What "Novaluxia PH" refers to#
Two different things carry the name, and confusing them causes most of the arguments in shopping groups:
| What you are looking at | What it is |
|---|---|
novaluxia.com | The brand and news site: company background, event coverage, press articles |
novaluxia.ph | The shopping front end: the mall and group-buy pages where products live |
| Google Play / App Store listing | The mobile app, where accounts, orders and support live |
So when someone asks "what is novaluxia PH", they usually mean the shop-and-group-buy side rather than the corporate site.
Group buying: two different mechanics, one word#
This is the part people get wrong, and it is worth reading before you spend anything.
Novaluxia's group buy is not the "more people, lower price" model. Two mechanics run side by side under the same word, and they are nothing like each other.
Type one: the draw (the main one, branded NovaBolt)#
A product is listed at a discounted price, and you pay that price in full to join. Each group holds 100 people and has exactly one winning slot. The odds are printed into the product title itself — you will see 【100:1】.
When the group fills, the draw runs. Two outcomes:
- You win — the item ships to you.
- You do not win — you get a small "unwon" reward. On live campaigns we read in September 2026, that ranged from ₱5 to ₱85. The amount you paid is not returned.
Draw type (【100:1】) | All-win type | |
|---|---|---|
| People per group | 100 | 100 |
| Winning slots | 1 | 100 |
| What you pay | Full price of the listing | Full price of the listing |
| If you do not win | Small reward (we read ₱5–₱85); your payment is not refunded | — |
| If the group never fills | Principal is refunded | Principal is refunded |
| Typical price range | A few hundred to a few thousand pesos | ₱2,000–₱30,000 |
Worked example from a campaign we pulled: a football listed at ₱1,114 normally, ₱500 to join, 100 people, 1 slot, ₱5 for anyone who does not win. You spend ₱500, you have a 1% shot at the ball, and if you miss you are holding ₱5.
Type two: the all-win group#
There is also a much higher-priced set of groups where all 100 people win, and there is a referral amount attached for whoever brought you in (we read ₱40 to ₱600).
The difference between the two is not the price. It is whether the odds are 100% or 1%.
Four things to know before entering a draw#
- You are paying certain money for a chance at an item. Whether the item reaches you depends on the draw.
- The unwon reward is not your money back. It is a different order of magnitude entirely.
- Campaigns run for a long time; individual groups do not. We measured group windows in hours, so a screenshot passed around a chat group is often already settled.
- There is a daily purchase cap per price point. The platform's own campaign pages say five items per day at each price, and the app shows "maximum purchase limit reached".
What is actually different from Shopee or Lazada#
Being honest about this is more useful than hype:
- Social discovery over search. Novaluxia positions itself around communities and curated discovery, not around having the largest catalogue.
- Its headline group buy is a draw. On most marketplaces group deals are a promotion. Here they are the core mechanic — and the rules are different, which is the part to get straight first.
- Merchant and brand development. The platform talks about bringing merchants and brands on board, and its press coverage includes a first merchant partnership announcement.
- First-launch market, not a mature marketplace. It is early, so catalogue depth, seller count and review volume will not match the big two yet. That is a fact about stage, not a scandal.
What the points are for#
Points are spending power on the platform, not a tradable token. They go towards:
- Brand vouchers — the home screen icon rail shows KFC, Burger King, Grab, Coffee Bean and Pickup Coffee.
- Vouchers and physical items in Points Mall — drink vouchers, small appliances, household goods.
- Cash withdrawal — available from the Basic tier upwards.
Points come from group buys (winning or not), daily check-in, the task centre, the activity centre, and inviting friends.

Photos from Novaluxia's own community material. These are two of the chains whose vouchers show up in the app's Points Mall.
On the platform's own redemption page, a voucher marked "value ₱50" is priced at 50 points, so points track pesos roughly one to one.
Membership tiers: the names, not the earnings#
There are six tiers — Nova Start, Basic, Plus, Prime, Pro and Elite — and they unlock with cumulative spend (the platform's own thresholds read ₱200 / ₱2,000 / ₱10,000 / ₱20,000 / ₱50,000). Higher tiers mean withdrawal access, more groups to join, and more to redeem.
The tier system also includes team rewards and commission splits. That part is the platform's own recruitment pitch. We do not republish it, rewrite it or explain it — earnings promises are not something a fan site should be making. The official rules are in the app under Nova Membership Level System.
Withdrawal needs ID, and the wallet takes top-ups#
Two things are stated in the app that most people only notice later:
- Withdrawal requires identity verification. The app asks for one government ID (passport, UMID, Postal ID, National ID or TIN ID) and a linked bank account.
- The wallet accepts top-ups as well as withdrawals. Alongside the peso balance, the top-up screen also lists crypto.
Neither is a problem on its own. Together they decide how much money you leave sitting in the app. Our own rule is simple: top up only what this one purchase needs, and leave no balance behind.

Never hand over ID photos or OTP codes. That holds inside and outside the app.
The categories it plays in#
Beauty tech, skincare, lifestyle and smart living.
In practice that means the kind of items Filipino shoppers already buy on social — skincare, small home gadgets, personal care devices. The four category names are the wording on the company's own homepage (Beauty Tech • Skincare • Lifestyle • Smart Living), not our summary of it.
How to get started, in order#
- Install the app from Google Play or the App Store — not from a link posted in a group chat.
- Register with your own number and email, and set your delivery address properly the first time.
- Browse the categories, then check the odds printed on the product title before anything else.
- Answer the three questions above: which type, what comes back if you lose, what happens if it does not fill.
- Track the draw and the order inside the app under My Group Buying, and keep your receipt.
What we still cannot verify#
Being straight with you: public sources do not confirm the company's registration jurisdiction or founding date. No registration document or regulatory filing has been published.
What is publicly visible is narrower than that: a live brand site at novaluxia.com, an office address the platform publishes itself (2/F & 3/F, 30 Paseo de Roxas, Salcedo Village, Makati), and a press release about its parent (which describes Innoventure Global, a Cyprus private equity firm, as the incubator — a press release, not a registration record).
The figures on the company's About page — merchant partners, group buy sales, positive feedback — carry no published methodology.
Those are open questions, not evidence of wrongdoing — but if a page states them as verified fact, that page is overstating things.

FAQ
- What is Novaluxia in one sentence?
- Novaluxia is a social e-commerce platform that connects consumers, communities, merchants and brands, with the Philippines as its first launch market in Asia-Pacific.
- What is the difference between novaluxia.com and novaluxia.ph?
- novaluxia.com is the brand and news site — company background, events and articles. novaluxia.ph is the shopping front end where the mall and group-buy pages live.
- Is Novaluxia a Filipino company?
- The Philippines is its first launch market, but we have not seen public registration documents confirming where the company is incorporated. Treat that as unverified until official filings are published.
- How does the Novaluxia group buy actually work?
- The main type is a draw, not a discount. Each group has 100 people and only 1 winner. You pay in full to join; if you do not win, you get a small reward — we read ₱5 to ₱85 on live campaigns in September 2026 — and the amount you paid is not returned. If a group does not fill, the principal is refunded. A second, higher-priced type lets all 100 people win.
- Do I need the app, or can I use the website?
- There is a web store at novaluxia.ph and mobile apps on Google Play and the App Store. The app is the more complete experience, and it is where order status and support live.
